The Middle Tennessee ASTD chapter is excited to offer opportunities for our members to network, build skills, and gain personal fulfillment while meeting the needs of the Middle TN community. In years past, we’ve partnered with NPT, Habitat for Humanity, Hands On Nashville, and a number of other organizations to fulfill specific needs, particularly the need for training and development.  

 Why should you get involved?  Because serving the community results in opportunities to:

• Give back to the community
• Add to your resume
• Connect with other training and development professionals
• Connect with individuals outside your profession

Hands On Nashville and the Middle Tennessee chapter of ASTD have partnered together in an effort to match our members with volunteer opportunities in the community.  Each month, we analyze the volunteer opportunities and identify those that align with our chapter's mission and goals.

1. Click on the Sign-Up link and complete Demographics page.
2. Click the Volunteer tab, then click "Log into Member Center".
3. Select the "My Teams" tab at the top of the screen.
4. Click "Browse All Teams". 
5. Scroll down to find the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) Middle TN Chapter Team.
6. Click "Join this Team".
