June OD-SIG Meeting

This month's discussion will highlight "How We are Teaching OD: Current Practices in Advanced Degree OD Programs"

The ASTD Organizational Development Special Interest Group (OD-SIG) will hold its meeting on Monday, June 14 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the offices of Corrections Corporation of America, 10 Burton Hills Boulevard.

Our discussion for the evening will be:

How We are Teaching OD: Current Practices in Advanced Degree OD Programs, facilitated by Deb Tobey

Featuring:

  • What are future OD professionals learning? An overview of current graduate programs in OD, and trends for the future.
  • What should be a part of OD graduate programs? Share your ideas and experiences with those SIG members who teach OD.
  • What are the opinions and needs of the students themselves? Chat with a current student from Vanderbilt who is studying OD.

Please RSVP to Sheryl Kippenburger, sheryl.kippenberger@correctionscorp.com. As CCA is a secure facility, the guard will need a list of anticipated guests

The ASTD OD-SIG serves as a community of practice, providing networking, education, and service opportunities for Middle Tennessee OD professionals under the umbrella of ASTD. Each meeting consists of a leading-edge best practice, shared issues, and group discussions of solutions. We meet every other month on the second Monday evening.
