Kathy has worked for Holladay Properties, a large national Commercial Real Estate Corporation, for 18 years in many capacities.  For the past few years she has dealt primarily with HR and Training. Currently, Kathy is enhancing the OSHA training program for their maintenance staff as well as orientation training for new hires.  Last year she conducted a workshop for all employees on reducing negativity in the office which proved to be very helpful.
 
Kathy joined ASTD to get more training ideas and to expand her knowledge base.  She has already been able to use the training received in two meetings in her own training and looks forward to this relationship growing even more.  She loves the atmosphere at our meetings where everyone is so friendly.

Kathy’s hobby is collecting Hallmark Christmas Ornaments and so far has over 500.  Two of the first were a Raggedy Ann and Andy from 1976 because that was the theme for her niece's nursery that year.   Born in Lake County (known for beautiful Reelfoot Lake and as the only flat county in Tennessee), she grew up in Memphis.  She moved with her husband to Nashville in 1984.  She has always been very active in teaching Sunday school from preschool thru women's classes. Kathy loves to spend time with her two beautiful granddaughters.
