Red Cross Volunteer Opportunity
Our Community Relations group has come up with another exciting volunteer partnership that is a perfect fit for both our organizations. Read on to find out more about this exciting volunteer opportunity.
The Red Cross is excited to partner with MT ASTD as we offer them a pool of talented learning professionals that they normally don’t have access to. They’d like to train our members to present the Community Disaster Education program to the community as needed (for example, church groups, local businesses and schools). They are so excited about partnering with us; they have arranged a custom training program specifically for our chapter So mark your calendars for:

The training program will be combining their standard orientation with Community Disaster Education Training. The longer term goal is for members of our chapter to assume the train the trainer position.
