Michael is currently employed with Walmart and has been for 9 years. Michael started out as an hourly salesclerk associate and quickly moved up the ranks and was promoted to Assistant Store Manager at the age of 18. Three years ago, he was promoted to Regional Trainer, with responsiblities for training all levels of managerment including company officers, for the the states of Louisana, Mississippi, and Tennessee.

In his lesure time, Michael enjoys watching and playing any type of sport. Michael is a single father of two girls, ages nine and seven. When they are with him, Michael spends time camping, traveling, and being with them. 

When asked for an interesting story, he shared this:

"I have had my ear cut off. Seven years ago when I oldest daughter was two, she japped a Q-tip in my ear and did major damage to my inner ear. The doctor and to perform a microscpoic surgey and repair the broken bones and nerve damage."

By joining ASTD, Michael hopes to gain in sight on a variety of different topics and to also build relationships with people within the Traning and Development world.
